The game

TrendyAlpha is a free-to-play football prediction game. You predict scores, build streaks and compete in leagues for points and bragging rights. No money is wagered, staked or won on TrendyAlpha. It is not a gambling or betting service. Fixture and result data comes from publicly available feeds; we're not affiliated with any league, club or governing body, and while we work hard on accuracy, data can occasionally be delayed or corrected.

Your account

You need to be 16 or older to play. Keep your login details to yourself — you're responsible for what happens on your account. One account per person; multi-accounting to manipulate leaderboards gets all involved accounts removed. Pick a display name you'd be comfortable showing your grandmother; we may rename or remove offensive names, and we may suspend accounts that abuse the service, other players, or automated scraping of the site.

Predictions and scoring

Predictions lock at each match's scheduled kick-off time. Points: 5 for the exact score, 3 for the correct goal margin, 2 for the correct result, based on the result after 90 minutes plus stoppage time (excluding extra time and penalties). If a match is postponed or abandoned, associated predictions are settled when an official result exists or voided at our reasonable discretion. Leaderboards are recalculated automatically; obvious data errors may be corrected retroactively.

Alpha Pass (premium subscription)

The Alpha Pass is an optional paid subscription (€19.99 per season or €2.99 per month) processed by Stripe. It renews automatically until cancelled. Cancel anytime by emailing support@trendyalpha.com — cancellation stops future renewals and your benefits run to the end of the paid period. EU customers have a 14-day right of withdrawal from initial purchase; if you've barely used the benefits we'll refund in full within that window. Prices include applicable VAT where required.

Content and conduct

League names and display names you create must not be unlawful, hateful, or impersonate others. We may remove content that breaks these rules. Everything that makes up TrendyAlpha — design, code, branding, the lime — is ours; don't copy it, scrape it or resell it.

Liability

TrendyAlpha is provided "as is". We aim for excellent uptime, especially on match days, but we can't guarantee uninterrupted service and we're not liable for missed predictions due to outages, data feed errors, or you forgetting that kick-off was moved for TV. To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the previous 12 months.
